Full Time Faculty Positions. The Department of Economics invites applications for regular full time positions starting spring or summer term 2008. The Department has a preference for candidates with a proven record of research and potential for publication. The appointee is expected to make important contributions to the Department in both research and teaching activities (undergraduate and graduate). Applications from any field of Economics, Banking and Finance are welcome, but we are particularly interested in candidates with applied research on issues of interest for Latin-American economies.

Salaries will be commensurate with the appointees' qualifications and records. Candidates should possess a doctorate in economics or an applied economics field, or expected to have one by July 2008. Applications will be accepted until October 20, 2007 or until the positions are filled.
